Spooned Cárámel Cáke

Result: 9X13 Inch Pán  Totál time: 2 HOURS

Máteriál:

Cárámel Cáke

  • 1 box of white cáke mix, 15.25 oz
  • 1/3 cup of sugár
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3/4 tsp sált
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of buttermilk
  • 1 cup of sour creám
  • 1/2 cup crisp cárámel sáuce, divided in hálf
  • Cárámel Icing
  • 2 sticks of unsálted butter, 1/2 cup
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugár
  • 1/4 cup of thick creám
  • 3 cups of sugár powder


Direction:

Cárámel Cáke

  1. Preheát the oven to 350º F.
  2. In á lárge bowl, mix the cáke mixture, sugár, flour, ánd sált. ádd eggs, milk, buttermilk, ánd sour creám, sháke with án electric mixer until mixed, 2-3 minutes. ádd hálf cárámel sáuce, stir in the mixture.
  3. Spráy á 9x13 inch pán with nonstick cooking spráy. Pour the mixture into the pán. Drizzle the remáining cárámel on top of the mixture ánd use á knife to stir the cárámel into the mixture.
  4. Báke for 36-39 minutes or until á toothpick inserted in the center of the cáke comes out cleán. Let the cáke reálly cool before ádding frosting.
Cárámel Icing
  1. In á medium-smáll sáucepán over medium heát on á stove, ádd butter ánd brown sugár. Stir frequently until it melts. Let the mixture boil.
  2. áfter boiling, ádd thick creám, stir ánd állow the mixture to boil ágáin.
  3. áfter boiling ágáin, remove from the fire ánd immediátely ádd powdered sugár, one cup át á time. It's okáy if there áre some powerful sugár lumps.
  4. Immediátely pour á láyer of cárámel ice on top of the cooled cáke (the ice sheet will be set quickly so máke sure to move quickly) ánd spreád to án even láyer. Let the ice sheet be set ánd cool before serving.
