Protein Páncáke Recipe

Recipe for mixed bánáná protein páncákes máde from lentils. This vegán páncáke is high in plánt protein from red beáns, wheát, ánd fláxseed. Free of wheát, peánuts, milk, eggs, oil ánd butter máking it suitáble for whole food-básed diets.




Insteád of máple syrup, I háve covered this páncáke with dáte syrup. It máy not look beáutiful but it is 90% cheáper to máke yourself, contáins fiber from áll dátes ánd is fár more nutritious.

I like this recipe becáuse I don't use flour ánd insteád use whole foods thát áre not expensive. This recipe is simple ánd áffordáble. One serving hás 18g of protein.

I use red split lentils for this. I ám sure this will work with mány others but red splits áre very cheáp ánd provide án exceptionál smooth texture.

Máteriál

  • 1/2 cup / 95g Red split lentil
  • 1 cup / 90g Oát
  • 2 bánánás
  • 2 táblespoons of Fláxseed
  • 1 teáspoon of ápple cider vinegár
  • 3/4 / 180ml cup of wáter
  • Some syrup tbsp


How to máke

  1. Soák lentils overnight or át leást one hour in boiling wáter.
  2. Rinse ánd dráin then ádd to the blender with the others.
  3. Blend until everything breáks, ábout 2 minutes.
  4. Pour ábout 1/3 cup of bátter into á nonstick stick,
  5. Spreád to ábout 5-6 diámeter in diámeter ánd cook for ábout 2 minutes until it stárts to bubble ánd become dárker.
  6. Stir ánd cook on the other side for ánother 2 minutes.
  7. Serve immediátely ánd the leftovers will be good for 3 dáys.
  8. Greát topped with fresh berries ánd dátes syrup.
