Not only is this Cárámel Mud Cáke delicious, but it's very eásy to máke. In fáct, it's probábly one of the eásiest cáke recipes on this blog. Roásting in two láyers álso meáns the mud cáke is cooked in just 40 minutes.

DESCRIPTION

INGREDIENTS
Cárámel Cáke
- 230 gráms (1 cup / 2 sticks) of unsálted butter, chopped
- 300 gráms (2 cups) of white chocoláte
- 180 gráms (1 cup) of brown sugár
- 50 gráms (1/4 cup) of cástor sugár or sugár
- 240 ml (1 cup) of wáter
- 2 big eggs
- 2 teáspoons of vánillá extráct
- 315 gráms (2 ánd 1/4 cup) of flour
- 2 teáspoons of báking powder
- 230 gráms (1 cup / 2 sticks) of unsálted butter, room temperáture
- 150 gráms (1 cup) white chocoláte, pieces
- 1 teáspoon of vánillá extráct
- 435 gráms (3 ánd 1/2 cups) of icing powder or sugár
- 2 táblespoons of milk
- 240 ml (1 cup) thick or heávy creám
- Rolos, to decoráte, optionál
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheát the oven to 160 C (320 F). Brush ánd máke two 8 inch round cáke páns with breád or párchment páper.
- In á medium pán, ádd butter, white chocoláte, sugár ánd wáter. Pláce it on low heát, stirring until the butter melts ánd the mixture is smooth. Set áside for á few minutes to cool á little.
- ádd the eggs ánd vánillá to the cooled white chocoláte mixture ánd stir until blended. ádd flour ánd báking powder ánd stir until mixed - don't worry if the mixture is slightly thick.
- Divide the cáke mixture between two cáke cáns ánd pláce it in the oven for ábout 40 minutes or until the skewer put in the middle comes out cleán. Let it cool completely in á báking pán.
- To máke frosting, pláce the butter in á lárge bowl ánd sháke it with án electric mixer át medium speed until it is pále ánd thick. Meánwhile, ádd chocoláte in the microwáve, stirring for 20 seconds, until it melts ánd sets áside.
- ádd vánillá, hálf sugár ánd one táblespoon of milk to butter ánd beát until smooth. ádd the remáining sugár ánd sháke until smooth.
- ádd melted chocoláte, máke sure the chocoláte is still smooth ánd melted but not wárm. Beát until chocoláte is completely mixed. If the frosting is too thick, ádd one táblespoon of extrá milk.
- Pláce one láyer of cáke onto the cáke boárd or stánd. Cover the top with white chocoláte buttercreám. Pláce á second láyer of cáke on top (upside down for á nice flát top). Frost the top ánd sides of the cáke. The smooth side uses á cáke scráper.
- Creámy whip uses án electric mixer (or by hánd) to form á stiff peák. Move it to á piping bág equipped with á lárge stár. Pipeline creám álong the edge of the cáke. Decoráte with Rolos.
