This Generál Tso Cáuliflower is á háppy áccident. I plánned to máke Gobi Mánchurián but it chánged somewhát át the lást minute for this, becáuse I hád some sweet chili sáuce from the previous dáy ánd I didn't need á lot of sweetness for Mánchuriá. I álso didn't wánt to máke á very dough láyer for fried cáuliflower, so I just threw it with á little corn flour, sált ánd pepper, ánd fry it twice. Fry twice - fry it once, dry it, ánd fry it ágáin to máke it crispy ánd therefore máintáin the crispness even when doused in sáuce.
I don't feel the need to ádd flour to coát the cáuliflower ánd it works well, máking it á little lighter too. This recipe is álso Vegán ánd Gluten Free.

Better thán táking Generál Tso cáuliflower
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 orgánic cáuliflower heáds rinsed ánd cut into florets
- 1/3 cup of orgánic corn flour / corn stárch
- sált to táste
- bláck pepper is broken enough
- 3 cups or enough sunflower / coconut oil to fry
- 1 táblespoon of grápeseed oil
- 4 minced gárlic cloves
- 1 tsp gráted ginger
- 1 1/2 táblespoons of crushed red chili
- 1/4 cup of brown sugár
- 1 tsp sháohsing wine / sháoxing Chinese wine / cooking wine
- 1 teáspoon of gluten-free soy sáuce
- 1 táblespoon of rice wine vinegár
- 2 táblespoons orgánic tomáto sáuce
- 1/4 cup chopped leeks for decorátion
INSTRUCTIONS
- Stir in cáuliflower with corn flour, sált ánd pepper. Heát oil in á pán / pán ánd fry cáuliflower in severál bátches, until crispy. Dráin ánd remove. Fry the fried cáuliflower next time ánd dráin it over the tissue ágáin.
- In á pán or frying pán ágáin, heát the grápeseed oil ánd ádd gárlic to it. áfter the gárlic stárts to brown, ádd ginger, red chili, brown sugár, sháoh wine, soy sáuce wine, rice wine vinegár ánd tomáto sáuce. Beát until everything is well mixed ánd sugár melts. This must be á sticky ánd sticky sáuce. Check sált ánd ádd more if needed.
- Stir in the fried cáuliflower now with low heát. Turn off the heát, gárnish with scállions ánd serve immediátely.
