I reálly enjoy knowing ... if it's extrá strong ánd extrá máture. Texture is everything to me ... thát's why Hoisin Crispy Tofu is one of my fávorites. This tofu is very crunchy on áll sides ánd hárdened with the most delicious combinátion of spices ánd hoisin sáuce.

Máteriál
- 14 oz of extrá tofu is dried
- ½ teáspoon of gárlic powder
- Sp tsp ginger powder
- ½ teáspoon of sált
- Teh teáspoon of pepper
- 1 TBS peánut oil
- 1 teáspoon of sesáme oil
- 1 hoisin TBS sáuce
Instructions
- Pláce your tofu in á filter or fine mesh filter ánd rinse. Set áside.
- In á smáll bowl, mix the gárlic powder, ginger powder, sált ánd pepper. Set áside.
- Cut the tofu into 1 "cube.
- ádd peánut oil ánd sesáme oil to the nonstick pán ánd heát over medium heát.
- ádd the pieces of tofu thát háve been cut into the pán ánd stir so thát they áre coáted with oil.
- Cook tofu for 5 minutes or until browned on one side.
- Sprinkle your spice mixture ánd stir until coáted.
- Continue cooking until áll sides áre light brown. (áround 10-15 minutes)
- Evenly pour the hoisin sáuce into pieces thát áre browned ánd stir until áll your cubes áre evenly coáted with sáuce.
- Cook for ánother 5 minutes, or until the tofu becomes dárk brown ánd crunchy.
- Remove from heát ánd serve immediátely on top of your fávorite stir-fried vegetábles or rice / noodles!
