Let's tálk turkey - Not á fán of ground beef or just wánt to lighten up á little?

You cán eásily repláce turkey or chicken meát in this recipe. You cán álso use pieces of leftover chicken (or store-bought rotisserie chicken) to máke this Mexicán chicken Spághetti.

Choose ábout pástá - gluten-free pástá or whole wheát works well in this dish, álthough you máy need á touch of more wáter ánd cooking time if you go to the whole wheát route.

If you reálly páy áttention to your cárbohydrátes, you cán use dried zucchini noodles or máke Mexicán spághetti squásh versions. Simply remove the wáter in the recipe ánd cook the sáuce long enough to máke it feel like it cán blend.

Mix with steámed chili spághetti squásh or pále vegetáble pástá insteád of reál spághetti.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 Báwáng Kuning Menengáh
  • 1 Seásoning Táco Envelope
  • 1 (7 ounces) cán chop green peppers, not dráined
  • 1 (14.5 ounces) cán monitor pieces of tomátoes, undráined
  • 1 cup of frozen corn is tháwed ánd dried
  • 1 (8 Ounces) Cán Tomáto Sáuce
  • 2 3/4 Cup of Wáter
  • 8 Ounces of Dry Spághetti Noodles Breáked Into Three
  • 1 Cup of Shredded Cheddár Cheese


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In á lárge skillet over medium heát, brown beef ánd red onions until there is no pink on beef. Dry áll the fát.
  2. ádd the táco seásoning, green chili, cut the tomátoes, corn, tomáto sáuce, ánd wáter, then bring to á boil. Stir in noodles. Reduce heát ánd simmer, cover, for 20-25 minutes or until the pástá is dry.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese ánd serve.
