Chocoláte Ice Creám Cookie Bár

Chocoláte chip cáke with chocoláte chip ice creám top. Cookie Monster gives this dessert two thumbs up!

INGREDIENTS:

For Cookie Bár:

  • 2 1/8 cups of multipurpose flour
  • 1/2 teáspoon of sált
  • 1/2 teáspoon of báking sodá
  • 12 táblespoons of butter, melt ánd cool to room temperáture
  • 1 cup of light brown sugár
  • 1/2 cup of sugár
  • 1 big egg
  • 1 lárge egg yolk
  • 2 teáspoons of vánillá extráct
  • 2 cups of chocoláte chips
  • Seá sált, to be sprinkled on the bár, if desired
For Creám Láyers:
  • 1.5 liters of chocoláte chip ice creám dough, softened
  • 1/3 cup of chocoláte chips
  • Hot fudge sáuce, to be served, if desired


DIRECTION:

  1. First, máke á chocoláte chip cáke bár. Preheát the oven to 325 degrees F. Spráy á 9x13 inch pán with á nonstick cooking spráy ánd set it áside.
  2. In á medium bowl, sháke the flour, sált ánd báking sodá. Set áside.
  3. In the stánd mixer bowl, mix melted butter ánd sugár together until combined. ádd eggs, egg yolks ánd vánillá extráct ánd stir until smooth. Slowly ádd dry ingredients ánd mix well, only until combined. ádd chocoláte chips.
  4. Pour the cáke mixture into the prepáred pán, flátten the top with á spátulá. Sprinkle very light cookies with seá sált, if desired. Báke the cáke for 25-30 minutes or until the top of the bláde is golden brown ánd the edges begin to pull from the pán. Remove the bár from the oven ánd cool it completely.
  5. When the cookie bár is reálly cool, spreád the ice creám evenly over the cookie bár. Decoráte with chocoláte chips.
  6. Cover the ice creám ánd pláce it in the freezer. Freeze until the ice creám hárdens, át leást 2 hours. This dessert cán be máde first.
  7. When reády to be served, remove the pán from the freezer. Run á shárp knife under hot wáter ánd cut the bár into á box. The trunks will be difficult to cut so máke sure you get á super hot knife between eách piece. Drizzle the bár with hot fudge sáuce, if desired. Serve.
